Tentative Schedule for the Meeting

Pre-Sept 27 - contact Bill Wichers (VicePresident@GermanLonghairs.org) for sage and blue grouse hunting information, fishing information, etc.

Saturday, Sept 27, Game & Fish Regional Office, Annual Meeting 8:00AM - Welcome, Introductions

  • 10:00am -  Breed Show 
  • 12:00pm -  Lunch on your own
  • 1:30pm -    Discuss club organizational items
  • 3:30pm -    Hip Displaysia Presentation
  • 4:00pm -    2008 Bundeszuchthundeschau (German Breed Show) Review
  • 5:00pm -    Presentation: "German Longhairs in Scandinavia"
  • 5:30pm -    Breed Show awards
  • 6:00pm -    Dinner at Wichers' house (Food will be provided but folks will need to bring whatever they want to drink)

Sunday, Sept 28 - Sage Grouse Hunting

  • 7:00am - Meet at Game and Fish Office to caravan to sage grouse hunting area
  • 6:30pm - Dinner at Wichers' house (Food will be provided but folks will need to bring whatever they want to drink)

Monday, Sept 29 - Sage Grouse Hunting (Meet again at 7am at G&F office and caravan to hunting area)

Tuesday, Sept 30 - Sage grouse hunting on the way to Thermopolis, WY (2 1/2 hours northwest of Casper), shopping or museums in Casper, tour of the Wyoming Dinosaur Center in Thermopolis, or whatever else folks want to do.  We'll plan to stay this evening at the dog-friendly Holiday Inn in Thermopolis, home of the world's largest mineral hot springs (so bring your bathing suit for the hot, stinky water).

Wednesday, Oct 1 - Hungarian (Grey) Partridge and Chukar hunting northeast of Thermopolis, Wyoming

Thursday, Oct 2 - Hungarian (Grey) Partridge and Chukar hunting and return to Casper, Wyoming
